Google has joined Microsoft and Yahoo in providing traffic data. Google Maps displays traffic data using the industry’s color coding standard that shows Green: fast, Yellow: maddening, Red: miserable.

British Broadcasting Corp. (BBC), will soon have its own channels on YouTube which will show news, TV shows, and documentaries. BBC will be the latest content provider to have their own channel on YouTube. YouTube has also finalized revenue-sharing agreements with other content providers like the NBA and Wind-Up Records.

Anytime within the next six months, Adobe plans to release a web-based version of Photoshop which will be in competition with Google’s Picasa. Google has just launched Google Apps Premiere Edition which comes with web-based word processing and spreadsheets. Aimed at large businesses, the suite costs $50 a year per user. This subscription will also provide users with 10 gigs of email storage and comes with Google Talk (instant messaging). Phone support is also available to subcscribers.
