Firefly: Turn Your Firefox Into A File Manager
People who love using Firefox wish they could use the popular browser for more than just surfing the web. If you liked FireNes, which turns Firefox into a NES emulator that plays a ton of the classic games, you’ll be interested in Firefly.
Firefly is an extension that will turn Firefox into a file manager. You can choose between a detailed list view and the thumbnail view. Firefly functions like a normal file manager letting you copy, paste, move, and rename files on your hard drive.

The extension has a few glitches but has the potential of making my list of favorite add-ons.
Firefly works on most Windows versions and Firefox 2 and above.

That’s a cool extension. So much of extensions, but limited system resources… I want my FF to work fast… so, let me think again whether to use it or not….

That would be great if we have fireshop; This firefox is having a great share in the internet world. I see most of my friends use firefox but I am the only one to look for addons. This is a good one to search while attaching file to mail.

That is a cool plugin. I loved the FireNes plugin and use it way too often. This one is a bit more practical but still fun for tooling around in firefox.

This sounds like a great plugin in concept, but Firefox seems to bog down a little with every new addition. It is no where near as bad as IE7 though. Thank goodness for that. I’m happy with just using it as a browser for now until I get a blazing fast computer with an awesome internet connection. Then we’ll try it.
