AddOurSearch: Let Your Visitors Search Your Site From Their Browser
Most site owners are always looking to increase brand recognition. If you’re one of them, this should be interesting for you.
AddOurSearch is a free service that will let your visitors search your site wherever they are, from within their browser. Simply put, your site visitors will be able to add your site to their browser’s list of installed search engines. The service supports Flock, Firefox 2 and above, and Internet Explorer 7 and above.
You don’t have to register. Just fill out a form and you’ll be provided with the code you need to add to your site. Once you’ve added the code, you’ll see the AddOurSearch widget. You can customize the look of your widget if you can’t find one you like from the available design. You can even use a customized text link if you don’t want to use a widget.
When visitors click on your widget, they’ll be presented with the installation window.
