iRadeo: Free Internet Radio For Your Site

[iRadeo Logo]There are a number of ways to embed audio on your site. You can use the more common scripts that will play a song as soon as a visitor hits your site (usually annoys people), or you can use services that let you have your own web radio station.

If you’ve been looking for a service that will let you stream your music like an Internet radio station without costing an arm and a leg, you’re in luck.

iRadeo is an online radio platform that will let you stream your mp3 and wav files for free right from your site. You can have your own free Internet radio station embedded within your site.

iRadeo will automatically detect mp3 file info through ID3v1 and ID3v2 tags and display it in the player. You can choose between automatically streaming your music once the page loads, or waiting for your visitor to click on the player (recommended heh).

One of the better features of iRadio is that visitors to your site can embed your player on their site.

Once you’ve downloaded the package, just change the settings in iRadeo’s config.php file to your preferred settings. You can customize the player through its css file. When you’re done, upload all the files to your server. Upload your music to your specified folder and that’s it.

Just a reminder:
The number of listening hours you can provide is dependent on the amount of bandwidth your hosting package provides.
