So the advanatage is not having another window popup with a browser when you click on a link in your mail. That's it nothing else!

I tried Thunderbird a couple of years ago and for some reason I didn't get on board with it at all. This is a nice new feature and it seems like a good time to try it out again.

Cheers, Dan.

I guess it's kind of cool, but I have absolutely no desire to see websites in my mail program. Maybe I'm just crazy like that.

This is a nice idea, definitely. I stopped using Thunderbird back when I made gmail my primary email; I don't really miss having an extra application running all the time.

That's really cool. I actually stopped using thunderbird a while ago and stick solely to the gmail homepage because I got tired of it. Having it open in a new tab or window is a lot easier when using key shortcuts to go back and forth.

That's a pretty cool add-on, I think that I'd definitely want to use something like that if I still used a separate email client (which used to be Thunderbird) - these days I'm just liking accessing Google Mail wherever I am through their great AJAX-based interface.
