GoLive Bites The Dust
It’s taken ten months for the official announcement, but it’s finally happened. Some of you might remember that when GoLive 9 was released, it was available only as a download with no boxed versions.
Adobe has finally released an official announcement stating that the development and sales of GoLive will be discontinued starting April 28, 2008. You can see more details of the announcement over at Macworld.
Adobe has stated that they will still be providing GoLive tutorials on their site. Of course, how long these will be available, is anybody’s guess.
For those of you using GoLive, will you switch to Dreamweaver or stick it out with the last version of GoLive?

Honestly, I don’t even know what GoLive is. I’m such a slacker. haha Being as how I’m more a Flash Developer nowadays than anything else, is that a bad thing?

I have used Go Live and Dreamweaver, but I have been using Aptana Studio for a good few months now and I find it has everything I need, and it’s free.

Well they’ve really done a good job of marketing this product didn’t they?
I’d not heard of it till now neither and to be honest with you, I still don’t know as I’m really not that inspired to even look it up - anything I need outside of Wordpress, I usually use more (aging) Dreamweaver.
