Xoopit: Browse Videos And Images In Gmail With Ease

If you wanted to look for a specific video or image that was sent to your Gmail account, how fast could you find it? Would you even be able to find it? If your answer to both questions is “maybe”, you’re going to love this one.
Xoopit will let you browse your Gmail account for images and videos and find what you’re looking for easily. There are a couple of ways of using Xoopit. You can use the Xoopit for Gmail plugin for Firefox 2.x, add it as an iGoogle gadget, or use the service on the Xoopit site. Currently in private beta, you can submit your email to get notified when the service becomes open to the public.

If you stop to think about it, you probably have an incredible amount of photos in your email. Having a convenient way of browsing through all of them is definitely a plus.

Any links to photos or Youtube videos are automatically collected which allows you to view them all in one place without having to visit each site separately.

For those who prefer using the service on the site itself, the functionality is the same so you don’t have to worry.

It certainly looks to be worth a try, particularly as I route all my email thru Gmail anyway. I use other Gmail plug-ins such as Gmail2, and Remember The Milk

Nice stuff…I’ll try it with my Gmail. Searching in many old mails is very annoying..I wish it could apply to another email provider.

As I already said above, they stopped accepting new users as their Beta slots are already full
We are late for joining in and would have to wait for sometime till they re-open or roll out the final release.

Manual download is not the only option with YouTube Robot. You may as well schedule the download and conversion tasks to be executed automatically, even when you are not around. Downloading is followed by conversion to the format of your choice and uploading videos to a mobile device (if needed). For example, you can plug in iPod, select the video, go to bed, and when you wake up next morning, your iPod will be ready to play new YouTube videos.
