Nokia Launches Morph Concept Phone
The Nokia Research Center and the University of Cambridge (UK) have just unveiled Morph, a joint nanotechnology concept phone.
The device was launched to demonstrate the possibilities for future mobile phones, specifically their flexibility which would allow users to transform their phones into different shapes. The concept phone also boasts two important features, transparent electronics and self-cleaning surfaces.
Let’s take a look at Morph:

If you’d like to see it in action, Morph is on display at the “Design and the Elastic Mind” exhibition, on view from February 24 to May 12, 2008, at The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York.
Looks better than my phone that’s for sure

Wow this is weird.
I read a while back now about new technology for a kind of electronic paper. They said that it may not be too long before cereal boxes will be displaying videos and things like that!

Awesome! Nanotechnology will definitely be adding a lot of spicey new features into our daily gadgets real soon. I think a few months back I’ve read about the prototype of flexible electronic display where you can fix it onto clothes, soda cans to display photos, movies, advertisements and etc. The good thing is that it is so flexible, it fits over curved surfaces as well without affecting its functionality.
Self-cleaning nano-powered stuff is going to enter the market soon! Scientists have invented prototypes of t-shirts, basins, urinals coated with a infinitesimally thin layer of silver atoms to keep the dirt and grime off the surfaces. Cool
