gTranslate is an extension for Firefox that lets you translate any text found on a page by selecting the text and right-clicking over the selected text.

This is a good extension but personally I like Foxlingo (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2444) which is probably the most powerful translator that you will find for the Firefox including support of 45 languages and 35 online translation servicesand many other useful features.
