Valentine Gifts For Geeks
Still don’t know what to get your geek for Valentine? Whatever you do, don’t go out and buy the first gadget you see. Geeks are a special breed. You need to find gifts that were tailor-made for geeks like us.
To spare you the trouble of looking for that special Valentine’s day gift, here are some gifts you can give to your geek (or yourself).
1. Geek Love Poem Shirt - This is the ultimate form of expressing geek love. When it comes to being romantic, nothing beats poetry. This one’s my all-time favorite.

2. USB Aromatherapy - If your geek partner is into scented candles and the like, this little gadget is just what you need. If he/she has a laptop, they can bring their scent anywhere. That sounded wrong
.

3. Laser Stars Projector - Did you promise her the stars? No worries, this little projector will make sure you deliver. This gadget will display random stars and gas clouds. Now you can stargaze right inside your home.

4. Control Your Man/Woman Remote - Tired of saying the same things over and over? Next time you have a debate with your spouse, use the talking remote. Each remote comes with 18 phrases like “What about my needs?” and “All right, hand over the credit cards!”. So romantic.

5. Keyboard Boxers - The only recommended underwear by the Elite Geek Society( yes, I just made that up).

6. Bud Vase - Don’t just give her flowers. Put it in a vase and attach it to her monitor. Now that’s geek romance.

I love this geek site. The star gazer laser is awesome and my fave for the gal is the flower holder for the computer. I so need one of those! I like that they covered a little something for both guy and gal. I have another great idea to share the romance with your honey. Just go to http://www.mydovechocolate.com and register for the Dove’s “Expressions of Love” contest for a chance to win a beautiful 5.58 carats “Baby’s Breath Diamond Necklace” worth over 21K dollars. Simply describe how you feel about your loved one in an emotional and creative way in order to take home this lovely piece. Make it a Valentine’s Day she will never forget. She will love that you took the time to write about how you feel about her. Just add in chocolate and flowers and stir. Don’t you want to make a big hit with your sweetheart?

I just ordered the control your man/woman remote. That should save me some time arguing, and maybe the next time she says something about me playing cz, I dont have to worry about taking my headset off. Just press a button and presto! hahahahah
You know I’m just kidding right?

You need to win the techno geek award.
So, I guess the MacBook Air didn’t make the cut, eh? Wait a minute that wouldn’t be for them that would be for me, or maybe not! I rarely touch 1st gen computers.
Oh by the way, I linked to you using my new virtual home. You know the place where I actually get paid to write. I figured since you are the biggest techno geek I know, virtually, I should leave my first siggy at your spot.
I guess I’ll have to reveal my new home on Vegan Momma sometime in the near future.

Thanks BB,
I’ve followed up with a few Mac developers by email. I already have two interviews lined up and I’m getting free software to review. Very cool! From my experieince, software developers are usually very approachable, and usually happy tp answer questions and let you review their product.
I’ll be reviewing it on my new tech home and writing about it on one of my personal websites. It’s been a while since I’ve written about technology. I did it often in the corporate setting.
Whenever I purchase a software product I try to drop the developer a note to tell them how much I like it. I guess they like that. I’ve received beta releases and NFR discs by doing that. It wasn’t why I wrote them but I thought that was cool. I guess they were happy that they were getting a positive feedback. Most people usually don’t write the company unless there is something wrong.

Lol that’s true. Those people who sent you beta releases will be saying, “We used to send her free stuff before she became popular!” hehe.

I like the vase but I don’t think it will fit on the flat screen.
I actually have a pair of keyboard boxers.

Woah the tips are hilarious
I especially adore the first one, the hex colour code made me laugh! I remembered a few hex codes, especially one which goes like #c8d9ff because it was my favourite shade of blue. There was once in computer class the lecturer asked for my favourite coloured and I blurted out the hex code, everyone stared at me as if I had sat on a freshly painted bench
The scented USB gadget is cool! I found it when I was digging for geeky gadgets in a huge shop in a mall. They have those USB cup warmer (I’ve bought one, but I’m yet to use it), USB phone charger (I heard it takes ages to charge the phone that way), USB reading lights and the USB scented thing. I think it comes with a bottle of scented water where you just drip some of it into the paper to let it work
