Feudalism: Monday Time Waster
For those of you who are looking for a way to NOT get anything done today are in for a treat. Today’s designated productivity cure is guaranteed to waste your day heh.
Feudalism is a free browser game that puts you in control of a small town. Your goal is to build an army, conquer other towns and castles, and vanquish all your foes. The game has a decent tutorial to help you get familiar with all the things you’ll need to know.
You can save and load the game. That’s the most important aspect of any effective time waster. You choose the type of character you want at the start of the game with each character having different attributes.

After selecting your character and assigning attribute points, it’s time to build your army. Different towns have different troops so it’s a good idea to hire soldiers from all the towns you conquer. Every battle you win means getting lots of items (gold, weapons, armor). You can sell these at the town’s forge. The town forge also provides various weapons and armor.

After setting up your army, it’s time to conquer the world. Just go to the world map and travel heh. Towns that you have conquered are listed in green text.

When in battle, control your character with the W,A,S,D keys. Spacebar is the attack button. Your troops will fight automatically.

If you win the battle, you’ll see a screen like this one.

This is an extremely addicting time waster. Perfect for anyone wanting to cure their productivity.

Oh, great….I really needed another great game to waste my time on the internet!
Looks cool, though. I’m wasting enough time with King Of The World on Facebook for right now. Which reminds me, I need to go check and see how my kingdom is coming.

Well I needed a game to fill some downtime last night and this one really filled the gap! I love it - I did manage to get unlimited gold somehow… a bug in the game maybe… and then disaster struck when I saved the game and it crashed never to be found again… all that time invested in my army too!!!
How fantastic! I’ll have to start over!
