    I’m personally enjoying blogging again. I have learned how to pace myself and to not take myself so seriously. For some reason…I thought about the 1st time I met you; it was on Mike’s forum and you helped LisaQ from 40s Singleness-Dating in Your 40s add tabs to the top of her template…hahaha!!!!! :mrgreen:

    It’s been a busy week, but things are starting to wind down. Hmm, let’s hope they don’t pick up again for a while. I did receive a blogging job writing for a fairly popular website. I’m excited about that. :-)

    I’m just overloaded with nervous energy today after watching my football team win its title game to head to the Super Bowl. Psyched doesn’t even being to describe my mood! :mrgreen:

    I was talking to my mother on the telephone earlier, and it got into the “things aren’t what they used to be” kind of discussion, and seeing that black and white image reminded me of that conversation.

    Are we suffering from an overload of everything? TV,Radio, Music outlets, information? Crazy thing is, as a regular and long time user of IRC, I often see people typing that they’re bored.

    I know this sounds like my parents, but there is so much to do these days, how can they possibly be bored?

    @Opal:
    That’s great news! Let me know when you start with your guest posting, I’d love to read it :grin:

    @Angela:
    I hope they go all the way :mrgreen:

    @Eyebee:
    It’s funny you should say that. I was just giving a lecture to my 14 year old about the tons of things he could do. This was in response to his complaining about how bored he was and that there was nothing to do.

    As I was talking to him about all the possibilities I thought that I was starting to sound like my father haha

    I often hear my kids say “I’m bored” when I have them here with me. I try to keep them busy with outdoor and indoor activities, but I just can’t figure out why they use this “I’m bored” expression as if they haven’t done anything that day….

    As for me, semester starts tomorrow, and I can’t wait for it to be over already….

    As usual, on days that “I’m bored”, I play cz. heh
