BIM 2.0: Free Install Maker

Bytessence Install Maker is a free setup file creator for Windows. This little app will let you create your own custom installers for your personal applications or files you want to transfer. The program uses the ZIP algorithm for file compression(maybe they could switch to WinRar’s algo next time heh). BIM will generate a single executable install file for your installer.

You can customize the installer interface, splash screens, and the icon. If you’re wondering what the file size limitation is, BIM can handle up to 2 gig installs. No scripting is necessary. Not bad for a free app.

Advanced features like running programs and commands, add/delete registry keys, create custom folders and shortcuts, associating extensions, and more can all be configured.

Yes, it creates an uninstaller too heh.

Works with Windows NT, 98, ME, 2K, XP, Vista.
