Brown Batch #37: Link Love Fiesta

One of the most satisfying posts for me is an article where I get to link to other great blogs and their posts. These authors are all incredibly talented people and reading what they’ve written is always a pleasure.

This week’s Brown Batch are:

  • Jaypee Online - HowTo: File A Google Webmaster Tools Reinclusion Request
  • Btw, most people know or call this as a “reinclusion request” but Google refers to this as “reconsideration request“. Why? Because not all penalized sites or blogs get removed from Google’s index so reconsideration is more accurate than reinclusion.

  • Revellian dot Com - How To Provide Traffic For Others
  • When we write about how to gain traffic, we are really out to gain traffic for ourselves. We rationalize, believing we are teaching others how to gain traffic - we are really teaching others to be greedy, just like we are! I see money bloggers often believing they help others by teaching them to make money…they are really just trying to make money for themselves!

  • Vegan Momma - Standing Out Can Be A Good Thing
  • Starting a new blog can be like that. If you don’t already have a following no one really knows what you are about, and at times you can be overlooked. For some bloggers this can be extremely frustrating. It seems as though everyone knows each other, and there you are the new person wanting to join in but perhaps unsure of your approach?

  • Me And My Drum - 5 Free Ways To Stop Stuffing Your Pie Hole
  • Okay, the holidays are over. Now it’s time to get serious about losing all those pounds we gained since our first bite of candy corn at Halloween.

  • McBilly dot Com - Unleash The Child In You
  • Let Your Imaginations Soar High

Long ago, people said the world was flat. It was proved wrong. People said we could not fly. It was proved wrong again. People said we could not go to the moon. It was proved wrong yet again.

Challenge your beliefs. Nothing is impossible to a child’s eyes.

  • Plagiarism Today - Why Your Copyright Protection Is Second Rate
  • This means that, once you have sold commercial interest in your work, there is little that you can do to protect it, even if a third party comes along and plagiarizes it. This greatly limits your control over your name and reputation while putting control over the work in corporations with very little motive to defend your work.

  • Information Addicts - 3 Quick And Easy Ways To Improve Your Photos Using Lines
  • Whether you’re a beginner to photography or have been taking photos for years, every picture you take is composed of lines - vertical, horizontal, straight or curved.
Different lines have different affects on the finale image, where you place, and how you visualise those lines before you press the shutter button can have a dramatic effect on your photos.
