ExplorerXP: A Better File Manager For Windows XP
ExplorerXP is a free file manager for Win 2000/XP that comes with features that the regular Windows Explorer lacks.
The biggest feature you’ll notice right away is that you can browse multiple folders within a tabbed interface. This feature alone is enough reason to download the app heh. Folder sizes are displayed, as well as the size of compressed files and folders.

See that small window at the bottom left of the screen shot? That feature is called ‘Groups’ which is basically a collection of folders that you can access quickly. You can drag and drop any file you want included.

ExplorerXP lets you define your own keyboard shortcuts if you want to add more to CTRL+C and CTRL+V.

The program has USB support, advanced copy/move, merge and split tools, and Unicode support.
It’s completely free and it’s only a 410 KB download.

Who knew that tabs would revolutionize our world like they have huh? I think you might be on to something w/ this one, and it’s too bad that MS hasn’t put this feature into Vista. you’d think it’d be a no brainer.
But I guess that’s why they gave us the 3D Alt Tab. *rolling eyes*

I’m so addicted to having tabs lol. I’ve wondered why they haven’t added it. Probably waiting for Mac to do it first then they’ll copy it haha

Oooh, I love tabs. I’m definitely trying this one out. It annoys me when I’m moving files between folders to always have to have several windows open. This should be sweet

Now every app must have tabs, which are a good thing. “Group”ing your fav. folders looks awesome though.

ExplorerXP is really nice! Windows should implement a tabbed interface natively! Nice post buddy!

LOL @ Probably waiting for Mac to do it first then they’ll copy it haha.
Indeed. Productivity increases with the use of tabs. I hate how I need to open a new page in IE6 if i want to retain the page. Actually, I still hate IE7.
