Build Your Own Digg Clone With Drigg
If you’ve ever been frustrated with the voting trend on Digg, you’ve probably wished that you could set up your own. Here’s the good news. Drupal developer Tony Mobily has created a module for Drupal that allows users to promote stories based on votes.
To see how it works, take a look at Drigg.org. You’ll notice the familiar box beside every story that displays the number of votes with the option of voting it up or down at the bottom. The ‘Karma’ system similar to Reddit’s is also used. You can search by tags and categories, look at user profiles, and leave comments on submitted stories.

If you’re interested in trying it out, head over to drigg-code where you can get the install code along with instructions on setting up.
If any of you decide to use Drigg, let me know so I can submit a few stories heh.

That’s actually really handy. I was just looking for something like that a couple of days ago. It would be nice if it worked with Wordpress or Joomla, but Drupal is better than nothing!

Drupal has to be my next best favorite after WordPress. It’s just sad I don’t get enough time to play with it. This one is pretty cool!
Nice find buddy! Stumbled.

I wanted to comment on this, because I think the guys who created this, did an awesome job. I really like it. It’s easy to use. It works well.
I customized the drigg software and started one called www.diggjesus.com.
Thanks for taking a look,

I’m using drigg for a Gadgettes podcast site called JackThisThingie. I looked at other options, but I love Drupal, so Drigg seemed like the natural choice.
