Brown Talk #27: Community Day Sunday
![[Brown Talk Christmas Edition 2]](http://www.brownbaron.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2007/12/btalk_xmas2.png)
Sundays at Brown Thoughts are always special. If this is your first visit, Sunday means no regular posts. Just one open post where everybody gets to talk about anything they want. If you’ve been coming here but haven’t commented yet, you’re welcome to join the fun.
Nothing is off-topic.
Do you turn into the Grinch once the holiday season starts? Do you still feel the same excitement for Christmas that you had when you were younger?

I do still get excited about Christmas. I don’t exactly enjoy all the hype that goes with it, and I do get tired of seeing stores work the Christmas holiday from September on, but as for the holiday itself, and the whole meaning behind it, I still feel like a little kid.

@Christine:

That’s exactly how I feel too. The commercial aspect is ‘ho hum’, the event itself is always magical.
@j:
Thanks for the compliment and for joining in
@David:
I think you’re right about that. Somehow having a family enhances the excitement
@Nick:
