I can’t stand microsoft products anymore.. In my opinion Microsoft Office is the only thing that they did well..
I got impressed by the new mac os x Leopard…And thats why I moved to apple’s OS..
You should do what this mac ad says: give up on vista!

Wow, those are pretty awesome! I am content with the way Windows XP is by itself and I don’t think I would pay a cent to change it. If I get bored all I need to do is change my desktop background and the toolbar colors and I’m set. Still very cool though

The problem with these, is that they’re too good looking. I have to stop myself from trying every single one

Awesome! Now the only question remains… Which one to try first?

Those themes look great. However, I’d be very careful getting themes from ThemeXP.org. The installer executable bundles “extra programs” that you may not want. If you scan the installer with Avast! anti-virus it will identify several adware and trojan programs. The EULA during the install goes for about 15 pages and is rather suspicious. Before installing the themes you may also want to Google “adware ThemeXP” to get feedback from other users that have downloaded and installed the themes.

These screenshots look amazing. I’m thinking of buying a copy of StyleXP to give these a try.
Do you have to buy each one of the themes? I was poking around their site and noticed the store with themes that you could purchase. I need to look at the product more when I have time to see what you get for the initial price because I love the way these look.

I’ve never really been interested in skinning my OS, but then in the past I had ancient, borderline machines that needed every last scrap of RAM to run and so wall papers and stuff were out. I wrote about a skin/system you can overlay on XP to make it seem more like Vista, and I was going to post the link here, but I read some pretty negative stuff about how it leaves fossils and orphans behind if you ever come to uninstall it. So, I’m sticking with the common or garden variety (admittedly with a wallpaperless version of the Zune color scheme instead of the default Fischer-Price XP scheme!

Hehe it does have a Fischer Price feel to it

It’s all those globular blobs of primary color. Who on earth thought that would appeal to educated adults I don’t know. The brushed steel and burnished wood look would be more my thing, but like I say I went for the soft option of the Zune theme (without that awful sunny crowd wallpaper)

It seems that some of the themes Avast registers as trojans… yea. That’s comforting.
