Folder Size Extension For Windows Explorer
When you need more hard drive space, you first need to find out which folders take up the most space. The usual routine involves opening Windows Explorer and setting the view options to ‘details’ and manually selecting each folder to see how much space it’s taking up. This makes freeing hard drive space a tedious process.
Folder Size is a free application that adds a new column to the Details view in Windows Explorer and displays not only the size of files, but also shows folder sizes.

It keeps track of which folders you are viewing and scans them in the background and displays the size of all the files in the folder. Now that’s convenient. It’s also free.

[…] The software also supports 64-bit machines, so that should make some people happy. There is also a Folder Size control panel where you can set options such as displaying in KB, MB, GB, or TB, etc. Enjoy! Source BrownBaron […]
