Vern 2: Collaborative Scheduling System
Setting up and scheduling an event with friends can prove to be difficult and sometimes impossible. The process of finding out when everyone will be available is usually a hassle. What if I told you there was a free and easy way to coordinate your team’s schedule?
Vern 2 is an updated web application from the Berkeley School of Information that lets users coordinate events with their team through email. The free web application will include a calendar in your email that will let your team vote on dates and times that they’re available.

The process is really simple. Compose your email. Just ‘CC’ vern2@benjaminhill.info on your email and your friends or team will be sent an invitation to vote on the most convenient date and time.
There are no signups, downloads, or app installs required. I told you it was simple

Awesome writeup! I’m glad you like it - it was fun to write. Let me know if you think up any must-have features. (I just released a new version that uses an updated foundation, should be more cross-compatible.)

Any privacy concerns? How is the data stored? When is it purged, if it is at all?

Any privacy concerns? Yes. (No passwords, all security is on the assumption that the special URL sent to your email is secure)
How is the data stored?: In a mySQL DB. Please don’t hack me.
When is it purged? Um. Never. Why would I bother purging stuff? Thats the sort of questions sites with more than 30 users need to answer.
