This is definitely an exciting new feature, as knowing what people search for can help you know what to write about.

Kyle Eslick's last blog post..Microsoft Releases Microsoft Sync Framework

Hmmm I will have to take a good look at this.

I have only just installed the analytics code and am looking forward to seeing how well it tracks my blog.

@Forest:
It's ok but it only refreshes once a day. I just wish it had detailed info on feed subscribers. :mrgreen: For real time tracking I use Reinvigorate.

@Forest:
The site is reinvigorate.net
You have to request an invitation but it's almost a sure thing that they send you one :grin:

Hm. I think the first step would be to add Google search TO my site. I'm not even gonna lie, I'll probably never get around to doing that. But still, this is a cool feature and I'm glad to see Analytics constantly improving since it's currently my #1 go to in analytical apps for my site.

@Bush:
If they could just offer real-time tracking, I'd be happier :mrgreen:

This is good to know, and should be a useful feature, although if it is tracking users who are searching on my site, I should be able to get the same information from the FireStats plugin that I have installed. I can already see all of the referring URLs and their info, including the ones from my site's search bar.

Meanwhile, I still need to look at this Google Analytics thing. I've been reading a lot about it lately in articles, newsletters, etc. but have not actually seen it in action yet.

@Karl:
I've considered using the FireStats plugin but I didn't want to increase the blog's load time since I'm already using Google Analytics and Reinvigorate. I'm still tempted though :mrgreen:
