Brown Batch #27: Link Love Fiesta

Another week, another batch of incredible posts by bloggers all over the world. With the sheer volume of interesting articles out there, you could easily spend days browsing through countless sites. Before the browsing frenzy starts, I’d like to suggest some great posts for you to read.
My good friend Mike has decided to give me the Community Blogger Award that started over at The Sultana Blog.
Building a community around this blog is one of my priorities and it’s great to see people coming back for more interaction or just to hang to out.
I’d like to give this award to the following people who have established vibrant communities around their blog. The award goes to Opal, Bobby Revell, Danielle, Derek Semmler, and Aaron Cook.
Now it’s time for this week’s Brown Batch:
- Madhur Kapoor - Apple To Allow Outside Applications To Run On iPhone
The developers kit will not be available till February as Apple works out on a method which doesn’t expose iPhone to malicious programs. Under the new policy , the applications will be allowed to run in “native” mode.
- Accounting Solver - Understanding Accounting Talk 11: Unwise Use Of Debt
When a liability has to be paid (e.g., a promissory note falling due or a supplier collecting for goods already supplied or services already rendered) and there are not enough earnings after expenses, then another liability is incurred to pay the existing liability.
- ShanKri-la - A New Milestone for ShanKri-la
It has been a joy for the last 6 months and I have not run out of steam. In fact, I feel invigorated and hope to continue to provide useful information that you can take it with you and actually use it in your daily life.
- Rishiraj - Group Writing Contest Win $111 In Cash
As I have completed one full year of blogging, I thought to giveaway some stuff to my readers and supports. Then I thought of a group writing contest, and I’ll give the winner $111 cash to the winner plus many other stuff to the runner-ups!
- AntiBarbie dot Net - Kindred Bloggers
I have had some great conversations on this blog with people I’d never have the pleasure to know had I not taken the opportunity to interact with them. It’s no exaggeration for me to say that I really do adore chatting with my readers.
- Lisa C Writes - My Shooting Star…
A shooting star may (to some) not be a big deal. It went by rather quickly, as I suppose they do. Just like that it came and was gone before I really had time to think on it. Why tonight? In all of my years, being outside at night looking up into the sky I had never had this experience before. Should I make it a big deal? Should I read in to it anymore than what it was? Should I, should I, should I? I could and so I did.

I agree with your choice of recipients of the community blogger award, I have been away from blogging for a week and it’s taken me over 4 hours to respond to comments, visit my visitors and catch up on my google reader feeds so I don’t know where your community blogger recipients get the time to build such lively communities! they should get an award or something.. oh wait, they did!
