Brown Batch #26: Link Love Fiesta

It’s Sunday and you know what that means right? It’s time to shine the light on other great authors and their articles. The blogging world is a big place and it’s easy to overlook a lot of great blogs just because they haven’t up on your radar.

Here at Brown Thoughts, I always try to showcase blogs that people might not have heard of yet. There’s no requirement to be featured here. You don’t even have to be a commenter here. Just keep writing. I’ll find you eventually  .

blogginghitsthemark.jpgIn what could possibly be the biggest blog awards ceremony you could ever see, Speedcat Hollydale has decided to include Brown Thoughts with the list of recipients for the “Blogging That Hits The Mark” award. Thanks Speedcat!

I’ve tried to locate the origin of this award but I haven’t been able to trace it to it’s creator. If anyone knows of where this award started, please let me know so I can give proper credit to the author.

Now it’s time to pass on this award to other blogs. I give this award to Vincent Chow, Benedict, Sarah of BlueJar, Dana Wallert, Nirmal of Life Rocks, K of ShanKri-la, Snoskred, Mark of Me And My Drum, Madhur, Bobby Revell, Aaron Cook, Vegan Momma, and Bush Mackel.

This week’s Brown Batch are the following:

  • Evolving Times - How To Be A Positive Force In The Blogosphere And Beyond
  • Obviously we’re not all perfect, shining examples of enlightened beings. We have moments of lightness and moments of … well, not-so-lightness. And that’s fine. In fact, it’s the moments of not-so-lightness that catalyze us and drive us forward to grow and evolve.

  • Design Adaptations - How To Add A Tabbed Content Section To Your Blog
  • If you’re a consistent blogger who has surpassed the 6 month mark, you’ve likely built up a notable resource for your visitors. Eventually, rotating older content in becomes a challenge.

  • Revellian dot Com - How To Write Content That Makes A Difference For People
  • Show some love, compassion and get to know as many people as you can on a personal level. I can name at least 50 blogs right now who will be future superstars in one way or another. If any of these people become A-listers, it will bring some much needed integrity to the top spots in blogging.

  • Kyle’s Cove - Is Facebook The Next Google?
  • If you look the roots of Google starting out in a garage, you can probably see many similarities with another company that is just now starting to gain some steam. That company is Facebook, and I’m telling you they are here to stay. These got the humble beginnings, they have the sexy product that has the potential to generate a lot of income, and apparently they are also a great company to work for.

  • FiddyP - It’s different out there, Hey! who changed blogging?
  • The people writing them and the reason they’re writing them seem different, a little more real life perhaps. A bit more orientated towards nice people in a nice community willing to help others, welcoming strangers to their tight knit virtual space.
