Google Earth Adds YouTube Videos
The Google Lat Long Blog has just announced that you can now view YouTube videos within Google Earth. Users can browse geotagged videos by going to the ‘Featured Content’ folder in the left side panel. Clicking on the YouTube button will display video icons all over the map.
Videos appear when users zoom in on specific places, and have the option of viewing the videos on Google Earth or on YouTube.

This seems like a great time waster
. If you guys upload your own geotagged videos, let me know.

Boy, it seems like there’s not a lot of Google love in the comments here! From a business point of view, You Tube always seemed something like an enigma to me, (how to make money with the huge bandwith costs)… But if Google can find some good places to put You Tube, it might prove to be a great boon to its currently line of services.
(BTW, I don’t think that Google has currently done anything really good with YouTube and I don’t know that this counts. - Just my two cents. (#):) )

Not as much fun as the flight simulator within Google Earth, but a nice feature nonetheless.
