Migratr: Move Your Images Without The Hassle

If you’re considering moving your photos to a different image host or service, but don’t want to go through the long process of downloading each photo, and uploading them to the new host, I’ve got good news.

Migratr is a free application that will let you move your photos from one service to another quickly and easily. Users can log in to their existing hosting service, download all their photos and albums, upload them to the new host, all from within the application. Now that’s convenient.

Photos downloaded using Migratr can then be burned to a CD or DVD for backup purposes using your favorite burning software.

The interface isn’t impressive, but it’s what the software can do that makes it a great application.

Thanks for the kind words! Minor correction, though- Migratr has no native support for burning files to CD/DVD. You can download your photos from the service onto your hard drive, and then burn them to cd/dvd from there (with your favorite burning application), but that’s about it.

I have my images spread over many sites. I’ll try using this software to download them.
