Joost Launches: Private Beta Ends
Joost has launched version 1.0 and is now free to everyone who wants in. Users who have been part of the beta will notice that the new version isn’t all that different from the last build. What’s new though, are loads of new content that are comprised of 15,000 shows over 250 channels.
Among the enhancements are better looking menus. The new menus are a definite improvement from the last build.

There’s a channel that provides the entire series of the original Transformers too. You might want to check the list of new channels to see what’s been added.

Joost CEO Mike Volpi, has mentioned that they are looking for partners, and that the service might get ported over to television within a year and half. Sounds good to me.
For Windows users that haven’t downloaded the new version, you can use this button:

My buddy sent me a Joost invite months ago and I love it really. I get to catch up on things that I never heard of before, and discover new shows. It’s changed quite a lot with tons more content added since I first started using it, all for the better.. sort of.. some of it I could do without…
