Brown Talk #19: Community Day Sunday

Sunday means that I get to take a break from writing, and hand over the reins to you. This day belongs to the community. You decide what you want to talk about. For those of you who’ve been visiting but have never left a comment, we’d love to get to know you. Come on in and say hi or whatever comes to mind.
Nothing is off-topic.
With September over, are you feeling the holiday rush?

What holiday? Hehehe…Yes I am! Earlier when distilling my own octane for my new “Revellian Petroleum Fumes For Party Animals Company” I thought of Christmas and was toppled by a most pleasurable head rush!

@Bobby:
petroleum fumes? now that’s a rush!

How ’bout we talk about what an awesome blogger you are!
I know, I know, you probably don’t want the attention. But the compliment is there and I’m not taking it back.

Wow, I’ve been unconscious from all those fumes!
What are you going to have for dinner? I’m having Korn and Limp Biscuits with gravy. For the main course I’ll be eating Sheryl’s black crow (deep fried with feathers in tact)

Not feeling the holiday rush yet but we’re in the frenzied middle of fiscal year-end at work so things are quite hectic.
Still, it’s hard to believe that the stores are already stocking Christmas stuff on the shelves…

@Aaron:
You forgot something though. You guys are incredible people, and it shows in your blogs

Haha now that made my day! Thanks buddy, I really appreciate it.
@Bobby:
Food! I’m starving! I think I got hungry thinking of those fumes
@Rob O.:
When malls start displaying Christmas stuff and start playing holiday tunes, I feel pressured hehe

Some stores have been stocking xmas items since August.
I feel a bit of the rush coming on as SO was talking about Thanksgiving Dinner today!
I’m not the type that really does that much planning ahead, I’m afraid.

@menopauseprincess:
I always tell my wife that we should do our Christmas shopping in August but it never happens hehe.
October 1st, 2007 10:42
Yes, that’s a great idea! I’ll probably get that done when H____ freezes over!
October 1st, 2007 16:39
@menopauseprincess:
Lol I know what you mean
October 1st, 2007 19:52
Ugh! I started feeling the holiday rush back in August when stores around here started dropping little Christmas hints in their decorations.
They start earlier every year! Sometime soon I they’ve just leave the Christmas decorations up year round and be done with it!
