Brown Batch #24: Link Love Fiesta

With the weekend almost over, it’s time to acknowledge other bloggers who have published interesting posts. Please take some time to visit each one. The authors will be happy to see you there.

I’d like to thank Christy of Christy’s Coffee Break for taking pity on me and giving me the Break Out Blogger Award heh. Don’t remind her about giving it to me, she might take it back haha. This award was launched by Bob of Bobbarama.com to celebrate his blog’s first year anniversary.

The official award description states:

This award casts a spotlight on bloggers who are just beginning to draw lotsa attention — the equivalent of a song with a bullet on Billboard’s Top 100 chart. Lotsa good posts. Lotsa good buzz. These bloggers are going places in a hurry.

Now that’s a smashing award. I now give the Break Out Blogger Award to Bush Mackel, Bobby Revell, Sarah of BlueJar, Danielle of Pink Internet Marketing, Dana of DW Web Solutions, K of ShanKri-La, and Nirmal of Life Rocks.

This week’s Brown Batch are:

  • Tim Nash - StumbleUpon Mathematics For Stumblers
  • If a stumbler initially stumbles a site and the site receives a large quantity of thumbs up their audience score increases conversely if they initially stumble a site and it’s thumbed down their audience score goes down. Stumblers who stumble a site after the initial stumble also have changes to their audience score but not to the same extent.

  • LGR Webmaster Blog - Being A Webmaster Is Like Changing Dirty Diapers
  • Being a webmaster is a lot like changing dirty diapers. There are a lot of things about my work that I love doing, but there is also list of routine items that I just don’t get to as often as I should, but sooner or later you need to deal with them otherwise your website, server or desktop will be a mess.

  • Revellian.com - Content: The King’s Illegitimate Stepchild
  • The truth is, there are many variables that determine whether content is good or not. If you are a money blogger, you may think personal blogs aren’t worth linking to or reading. If you are a real writer (story author, deep introspective expressions, progressive philosophies, etc.) you may think money blogs are a disease. Maybe you don’t care one way or another, you are here for friendship and fun!

  • Technology Bites - iFood.tv: Social Network For Foodies
  • Registered users will get a profile page with guest book, blog and links to favorite recipes, videos. You can invite your buddies to the site from all the popular mail services including Gmail, Yahoo Mail, MSN etc. You can meet other members of the community, make food buddies and watch the videos they are watching.
