Kaltura: Free Group Video Editor
Kaltura is a free site that lets users create and edit videos as a group. Users who want to create a video can upload their movies and invite friends to add photos, music, and even add video clips to it. They can then edit the video as a group.

The Flash-based video editor loads fast and has a nice feel to it. Users can choose from different special effects like transitions, text, overlays, audio, etc.

Finished videos can be downloaded, or embedded onto sites and blogs, and social networks as a widget.
High five to Rafe Needleman.

Now that is a cool free program! Very useful indeed. I have been looking for something to do stuff like this for free!

@Bobby:
Instead of a group writing project, a group video project would be cool too.

That would be cool! I am looking forward to the Brown Baron Blog widget! I saw that comment on Mark’s blog about the blogrush widget and thought your idea was pretty freakin’ cool!
You have a sharp eye and keen sense for this stuff. That’s why I read your blog. I think Mozilla should hire you as a project consultant and have no project released until it has passed the scrutiny of the Brown Thoughts!!!!!

That looks like a great site…and I love their homepage introduction. I’m just now getting into uploading videos to YouTube and Revver and this looks like a super cool approach. I checked out some of the videos and they really come together well. What an awesome idea!
Stumbled!
