Process Library: Find Out What Your Computer Is Running

Your computer is running a lot of processes at any given time. If you looked at the list of processes being run, would you know what each one does? Probably not. If you’ve ever wanted to know what a certain process like crss.exe was for, head over to Process Library.
Process Library provides you with information on any process that you have running on your computer. The main page shows the most popular searched processes, top threats, and new additions. The site offers an online process scanner, and users who want to learn more about different dll’s and processes can participate in the forums.

If you need to find out what a certain process is for, Process Library is an easy way to make sure your computer isn’t running something nasty.

As long as I’ve been using windows, I don’t know every process and never will. I’ll have to check this one out so I can find a problem that isn’t there! It’s what I do. If there is no problem, I’ll find one anyway

Hey buddy!
I know this is quite off topic, but I finally published a Blogroll…and included you in it. I used “Brown Thoughts” as the anchor text, so let me know if you prefer something different.
Shine on,
Aaron

I use Process explorer to find out exactly what processes are being used it is much better than windows taskmanager. When my pc boots up I have it to start up automatically, great little app. Here is the link if any one is interested http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sysinternals/utilities/processexplorer.mspx
Exellent blog by the way.
