Google Reader Gets Search Feature

googereader_search.png

Google has finally added a search function to Google Reader, which is a relief for all users of the service. The search option will let you search for keywords within your subscriptions. If you happen to be subscribed to someone’s shared items, you’ll be able to search within that too.

A few tweaks to Google Reader include an increase of the unread count to 1,000, and the ability to use your browser’s forward and back buttons to navigate between folders and subscriptions.

Now that Google has gotten around to adding a search function in Reader, maybe they could add folders to GMail as well.
