DaFont: 7,500 Cool Free Fonts
With blog redesign season in full swing, a lot of people are looking for css templates, logo design ideas, and new fonts to download. While there are multiple sources for free fonts, it gets tiresome browsing through different sites just to get the font you want.
DaFont.com boasts of 7,500 free fonts for PCs and Macs that you can download. Searching is easy as fonts are separated in different categories. Loading time is not a problem. Individual category pages load fast even with a lot of fonts.

Clicking on a font sample takes you to the individual font page where you can see what the font looks like in lower case, and what characters are included. The site is regularly updated with submissions from users. Download instructions are provided for users of Windows XP, Vista, and Mac OSX.
If you’re looking for a free cool font to download, give DaFont.com a try.
Update:
My buddy Mark has discovered that you can also type in text to see a preview of how it will look like using the selected font.

If you’re going to use the font in an image, sure. If you plan on using the font in regular text in your posts, that will depend on whether the reader has the same font installed.
