Microsoft Releases Silverlight 1.0
Microsoft has just released Silverlight 1.0, the browser plugin for streaming multimedia, games, and video. A big addition that wasn’t included in the beta, is that it will include support for Linux. Microsoft is reportedly working with Novell regarding Silverlight support for Linux.
Beet.TV was able to talk to head developer Brian Goldfarb about the launch.
High five to Andy Plesser.
