Joost Acquires OnTheToob



OnTheToob Logo

Joost has confirmed their acquisition of OnTheToob.com. OnTheToob helps Joost users create their own channels and access them from within the player itself. The site also serves as a programming guide for Joost.

OnTheToob was created by Hal Schechner, a Joost beta user. He has since joined the Joost staff. With this recent acquisition, we’ll most likely see more applications created using Joost’s Widget API.
