PayPal Subscription Outage Continues
PayPal’s subscription service has been down since Aug. 30 and the service’s users are understandably getting upset. PayPal merchants are getting antsy with the slowness of the repair process.
Osama Bedier, head of merchant product development for PayPal, stated on the PayPal blog:
We know that some merchants have experienced delays with subscription payments, and we want you to know that we have been working to address the issue with the highest level of urgency at PayPal. Scheduled subscriptions continue to be tracked, so rest assured that your payments will not be missed. However, payouts are delayed until the issue is resolved - which we hope is within the next 24 hours.
Users are still having problems with cancelled subscriptions. Any PayPal merchant out there experiencing the same problem?

Uh, where have I been, under a rock? They’ve been down since the 30th??? Are you kidding me! I haven’t had anyone complain thus far and usually billing is toward the start of the month. So far so good. If they fix it soon everything should work out okay for me. I’m sure some of the bigger merchants are going to be up in arms!

Hehe you must be one of the lucky few. A lot of merchants are complaining about how PayPal didn’t issue a notice on the main site.
