Yahoo Kickstart: Social Job Network
Yahoo is currently researching a new type of social network that focuses on giving college students the opportunity to connect with alumni of companies they’re interested in working for. The service is called Yahoo Kickstart, and is currently under development.
Yahoo is talking with college students to find out how they like the new service. Members get their own profile page which is the norm for social networks, and get to browse different company profiles which show its size, location, contact information, and description.

I like the concept, but we’ll have to wait until Kickstart launches to see if it’s effective.
