Brown Talk: Open Comments Batch 13

With Sunday comes my chance of kicking back and being a regular guy instead of the author. This is one of my favorite days as I get to talk with everyone about anything, and get to know them better in the process. . Thanks to Matt of BAYB for giving me the idea. For those unfamiliar with open comments, this just means that you can talk about anything you want.

Nothing is off-topic.

If you can’t think of anything, here are some suggestions:

  1. How has your week been?
  2. Watch any good movies lately?

For all the shy people out there(like me) who come to visit but never comment, this is your chance.

This post is all yours :grin: .

    I watched Pan’s Labyrinth last night for the first time and was blown away. What an incredible film! It’s probably the first really good movie I’ve seen in a long time.

    I’m not a big movie buff. I would really like to see The 300, but only because I’m an ancient history freak.

    I’ve had an awesome week. One of my articles hit the number 1 spot on Google, I started a new blog, and my kids went back to school.

    How cool is that. LOL

    Everybody out there have a great day today

    We watched “The Contract” last night with Morgan Freeman & John Cusack. I hadn’t heard of it before, but I took a chance on it because of Freeman. Good stuff!!

    I have so many movies on my computer to watch. I better get on with it! But the latest awesome movie I saw was Death Proof by Tarantino. Awesome!

    And, I’m getting my puppy on Friday! I’m so excited and nervous at the same time! ;D

    I attended my baby nephew’s baptism this morning and spent some time with my family. Not to mention I think I’ll be the first to write about and bust another scam website this week. Which means they haven’t had much time to scam anyone and maybe just maybe, I can help prevent someone giving up good money after bad.

    I started a new job on Monday with a private investigating firm/law firm and boy is that ever interesting stuff!!!! I’ll just say this about the kinds of cases that are investigated, all the stuff you see on TV is true (complete with surveillance). ;)

    My week was alright. Had a fun weekend, did some dancing and some drinking and some sitting on patios. Nice…

    I watched one really good movie - Short Bus. But I would not recommend it. I liked it but I enjoy subversive films and most people do not share this with me. I rewatched Scent of a Woman the other day… that is a great movie that anyone can appreciate.

    A friend of mine was telling me to watch it. I think I will :grin:

    @Rob:
    That was a great movie. Morgan Freeman is definitely one of the best :smile:

    @Malin:
    Congrats on getting a puppy! Why are you nervous haha

    @Sabrina:
    That sounds interesting. I’ll be checking your blog for more news about it :mrgreen:

    @Danielle:
    Dancing and drinking and sitting on patios sounds like a great time. Al Pacino is another great one. :grin:

    Once again, here I come a day late effectively ending Open Comments! The week was over so that was good, and I watched 2001 A Space Odyssey not too long ago which broke me in terms of watching movies for a while.
