Brown Batch #19: Link Love Fiesta

There are always great articles being written by my fellow bloggers. For anyone thinking of spreading some link love, I would suggest visiting blogs outside your niche and mentioning newer blogs. As always, please try to visit each one on the list. The authors will surely appreciate it.
Before we get started with the list, I’d like to take a moment to thank Bucky of The WVB for giving me the Daily Blogger Award. As Bucky describes it, the Daily Blogger Award is given to bloggers who have at least 5 posts a week. Now it’s my turn to give the award to Sarah of BlueJar, Derek of Derek Semmler dot Com, and Rose DesRochers of World Outside My Window.
Here is this week’s Brown Batch:
- PixelHead Online - Link Building Four
Don’t submit a title with more than one keyword phrase. For example, I would not submit a title like “Link Building for Search Engine Optimization” more than one or two times for variation, because it uses the two keyword phrases “link building” and Search Engine Optimization”.
- Patrick Burt - How Tall And Wide Should I Design My Website?
Sometimes, you just aren’t sure what the best dimensions (width and height) should be for the website you’re designing. You could be designing a content-driven site, or you could be designing a one-pager using Adobe Flash, whatever you’re doing, this is important information to know.
- One Big Crate - What Part Of Yes Don’t You Understand?
No is such and easy answer. That two letter word is powerful enough to stop things from getting out of control, keep people out of places they shouldn’t be, break the heart of someone who just asked you to prom, and so much more. When something has that kind of power shouldn’t we be careful when putting it to use?
- Wendy Piersall - Top 10 Home Internet Business Ideas You Can Start And Run In Your Underwear
Unless you have a brilliant tech idea that makes venture capitalists drool, you need to determine where your strengths are and which business model you plan on following (and you don’t need this list). I have run three home-based businesses in my life, all of which leveraged my current skill set as the foundation for building the business.
- Madhur Kapoor - Customizable Post Listings
The best thing about Wordpress is that its functionality can be increased by the use of various plugins that are available all over the internet. I was looking for a plugin that can display Recent Entries from a specific category in the sidebar , that when i came across it.
- Bobby Revell - Newbie Blogging: Crucial Choices And Trackbacks
Hosting yourself like I do can be a big challenge. It is the best way overall, but if you’re not willing to study hard and work, stay where you are for now. When you’re ready to host yourself, you’ll know. If that makes no sense, then you’re not ready!
High five to Aaron Cook.

Wow, thank you very much. It is always an honour to be in this list.
If I ever make any money (haven’t really tried yet) I’ll give you $17,500 for the ultimate blog contest. Have 6 months of signup time. That contest idea would be a wise investment and would pay back 10 times or more. That’s a great idea! Get a loan

Exactly, stop changing those typos because you never know what kind of cool things will result.
