Truveo: The Easy Way To Find Videos Online
With the growing number of video sharing sites, it’s easy to spend a lot of time going from site to site in search of the video you want. A better way of looking for videos is to use a video search engine. Truveo is a video search engine that crawls most video sites to provide you with a gigantic list of results.

Truveo crawls over 100 video sites when performing a search. Included sites are YouTube, MetaCafe, Google Video, Veoh, Revver, MySpace, iTunes, IFILM, and blip.tv among others.
The service lets you view videos within Truveo itself, with some exceptions that require you to view the video on the original site.

The site provides you with the code needed to embed videos on your site, which eliminates the need to visit the original site just to get the embed code.
Some users might be put off by the amount of results they get when searching for videos, but if you’re looking for an easy way to find videos, Truveo could be the only video site you need.

I’ve been scouring the web looking for a video my cousin told me about. It’s supposedly some sort of “real” footage of aliens landing near a family’s home while they’re having a birthday party. Apparently the aliens torment them and of course it’s all caught on tape…lol.
The closest I’ve been able to find is some dopey unsolved mysteries style dramatization of the event but not the actual footage which apparently has been removed from YouTube and every place else I’ve looked.
Couldn’t find it with Truveo either. I want to see the aliens

How is this when compared with Google Video search?

This is really cool find Brown, Now I don’t have to search across each site!
The coolest part is I don’t have to visit the source site to play the content! This would be my free time spot

Good post man. I’ve been using Truveo for about two weeks now. It’s not a bad video search engine at all. Works well.
Off topic, but about you: Friday Night’s Alright For Link Love! - Batch 2

@Mike:
Thanks buddy!
I want to see that video too! I’m going to tell my wife to look for it too hehehe.
@Ram:
Both are ok. What makes Truveo addicting is that it searches Google video and a lot of other sites when you search for a video.
@Ben:
Haha I’m glad I could help buddy!
@Aaron:
Link love is always a great present

If you or your wife find the video try to save it! Apparently it doesn’t stick around long
