Google Maps To Add Embeddable Maps
Google has confirmed that they will be adding a new feature to Google Maps that will allow users to embed maps on their site or blog. Starting next week, users will be able to embed maps on their blog or site as easily as embedding videos.
Users will just have to go to Google Maps, load any map, and click on “Link to this page”. The HTML code that will be generated needs to be copied and pasted on to the site or blog to embed the map. Simple as that. Embedded maps will function just like the maps found on the Google Maps page.
High five to Mark Sullivan.

I’m really pleased about this, it took me ages to figure out how to get a Google Map onto one of my Wordpress sites - this should work much better though!

It’s a pretty good addition. We’ll probably see a lot of sites with embedded maps.
