Google Health Prototype



Google Health LogoIt seems that Google is quietly developing a new service. Codenamed “Weaver”, Google Health will be a health information storage program. From the images submitted to Google Blogoscoped, the service seems to have evolved from early versions that were reported.

Google has already shown a prototype of Google Health to advisers and health professionals. The prototype’s welcome page states:

“At Google, we feel patients should be in charge of their health information, and they should be able to grant their health care providers, family members, or whomever they choose, access to this information. Google Health was developed to meet this need.”
