Google Pack Includes StarOffice
Google has recently added StarOffice 8 to its Google Pack download package. The pack version of StarOffice contains the Google Search toolbar in all its applications. Most of you will remember that the source code for StarOffice was the foundation for OpenOffice.org.
StarOffice comes with a word processor, presentation and spreadsheet tools, and math and drawing tools. It supports most Microsoft formats except for the new formats in Office 2007.
Depending on which language you choose, the download can reach up to 210 megs.
Don’t be surprised if Adobe comes out with their own version of office apps based on Adobe AIR.
