Physicists Solve Levitation Mystery

University of St. Andrews professors have found a way to create the levitation effect. Professor Ulf Leonhardt and Dr Thomas Philbin have discovered that reversing the Casimir effect creates the levitation effect.

The Casimir effect is a physical force exerted between separate objects due to resonance of all-pervasive energy fields in the intervening space between the objects.

Dr. Philbin stated:

“Micro or nano machines could run smoother and with less or no friction at all if one can manipulate the force.”

If they keep working on this, we might get lucky and see mass-produced hover cars in the not too distant future .
