A Brown Look At CristianR dot Com
I’ve been meaning to feature my fellow bloggers for quite some time but I always seem to forget. “A Brown Look” is a new feature where I put the spotlight on other blogs in the hopes of introducing great bloggers to more people. “A Brown Look” will always be free.
Let’s get started.

Cristian Raiber aka CristianR, is a college student in Romania who blogs about technology and how to make money online. His first post titled “5 quick adsense tips“, was published on March 19, 2007. A solid post with practical tips on improving adsense performance, it’s evident that Cristian had a clear idea of where he wanted to take his blog right from the start.
Let’s take a look at his blog:

Clean Design
The layout is easy on the eyes and the blog’s main navigation is right below the header which makes visitors like me happy. Ads are not scattered all over the place which shows that in Cristian’s case, his content is king.
Easy to Read
His posts are written in an easy to read manner. His articles are clear and straight to the point. A good example of this is his “SERP: what it is and what it stands for” post.
Recommendations:
Have a more prominent RSS button. His subscribe button is a little small. Don’t be shy, get a big feed button.
Add a favicon. This is a small but effective way to brand your blog.
Add a featured posts section in the sidebar to highlight your best articles.
Conclusion:
A lot of “Make money online” blogs aren’t really worth reading as most of them are either boring, unbelievable, or don’t provide practical advice.
Cristian provides practical tips without lecturing. His posts are well thought out. He doesn’t promise to make you rich. He writes about the methods he has studied or learned from others. Pretty nice guy too.
Worth a visit? You bet.
