Google Develops Phone Prototype

Google LogoAccording to an article at the Washington Post, the Wall Street Journal has reported that Google has already developed a prototype for a cell phone that it plans on marketing next year. The WSJ story stated that Google was showing the prototype to cell phone manufacturers and network operators.

The story further states that Google’s plan is to offer free subscriptions by bundling advertisements with its search engine, e-mail and Web browser software application.

I wonder if they’re going to call it the GPhone?
