Simplify Media Adds Support For Vista And XP
A recent announcement on Simplify Media’s official blog states the added support for Vista in addition to Windows XP and Mac OSX 10.4. Simplify Media is a free application that lets users access their music and their friends’ music over the internet right within iTunes.
While this type of software isn’t new, Simplify Media comes with 4 features that make it stand out from the rest.
- Users can sort, search and play remote libraries using the standard iTunes user interface from within iTunes. This is not limited to computers on the same subnet.
- Setup is simple and easy. Users won’t have to worry about port-forwarding or added firewall configurations.
- Supports mp3, aac, and wma files across both PCs and Macs.
- Users can create private groups. All transfers are encrypted. Adding users to connect to is fast and simple.

Free software just keeps getting better
