Brown Talk: Open Comments Batch 10

Sunday means that I get to be a normal reader instead of being the author. Thanks to Matt of BAYB for giving me the idea. For those unfamiliar with open comments, this just means that you can talk about anything you want.

Nothing is off-topic.

It’s been a tiring week for me. I want to sleep for half a day haha.

For all the shy people out there(like me) who come to visit but never comment, this is your chance :grin: .

This post is all yours.

    Yesterday I went to the beach and threw rocks in the sea. I think I overdone it as my back is killing me today.

    Hows that for off-topic?!?

    Hi Martin! A day at the beach sounds great. Maybe you were throwing rocks that were a little too big haha.
    Thanks for the visit :grin:

    I’d like to say congrats to all those who participated in the Blogathon 2007. I’m proud to have been involved, though in a small way. I’m in awe of those who blogged for charity, and I think what each and every one of them has done is admirable.

    Just my 2 cents worth.

    I really admire those who participated in the Blogathon. I don’t think I could have lasted if I tried. Those are great people I agree :grin:

    This is a little strange, we can comment about anything an don’t have any idea of what to talk about, how about some questions?

    Why the V for Vendetta avatar ?
    How do you came up to put your own space in internet ?
    Do you have like a montly revenue post ? (love this type of posts)

    Well, this is all that we can think for the moment, until next post, icedragon . . .

    Local journalist & fellow blogger Jimmy Patterson raised over $4,293 this weekend for a local organization that helps women & children recover from abusive home situations.

    Our area blogger community really came through with an overwhelming show of support and contributions. Makes me proud to be affiliated with these guys!

    Does anyone get any technorati traffic? In 2 months I’ve got about 10 visitors… :sad:

    @icedragon:
    I chose this avatar for two reasons. It was one of my favorite movies, and because I thought it would fit in really well with the Brown Baron name :grin:

    Revenue posts? Maybe in the future. Maybe :mrgreen:

    @Bush:
    I liked it too :grin:

    @Angela:
    I still laugh when I think about your squirrel post :lol:

    @Rob O.:
    That’s great! Sounds like a great community.

    @Shaun:
    I don’t get significant traffic from Technorati either. That’s normal. :grin:

    Yesterday I published my first “monthly update” for my blog. My first month as a blogger ended July 28th. I’m such a seasoned professional now… LOL

    You should check it out. Pretty good read!

    Just wanted to congratulate everyone that stuck around for Blogathon, it was long, it was fun and it was slightly hard. Harder as I didn’t sleep until 8 pm. last night.

    Sorry I missed your sunday post again, I think I’m going to have to start getting emailed, not that I would’ve made it yesterday but this upcoming sunday I want to. :) Hope ya had a great weekend.

    Shaun I get a lot of technorati traffic, which shocked me but that’s also why I get upset when tech doesn’t update.

    Saph- thanks again for the donation and the comments. Trust me they helped me stay awake.
