Convert Your Videos To DVD For Free
If you’re looking for a free application to convert your videos to DVD, I’ve got just the thing for you. Sothink’s Movie DVD Maker is a free program that lets you convert your videos to DVD. The program supports major video formats like AVI, MPEG, DAT, VOB, WMV, ASF, MP4, 3GP, and more.
The DVD Maker does not have advanced features like most commercial authoring tools, so don’t expect too much heh. Aside from being able to add subtitles, DVD Maker also lets you convert your videos to a folder just in case you want to burn it to DVD at a later date.
The default video/TV output is set to PAL. Depending on where you are, you might need to change it to NTSC.

Not really feature-packed, but it does provide a way for you to convert all those videos you got from the internet to DVD for free.

Does it let you create any kind of menus? I’d love to find something simple for DVD Menus. I created one a while back in Adobe After Affects and Encore DVD and that was a quite a chore. I don’t think I’d do it again

I think that you’ll only have the option of adding basic menus, if at all. Heh, Adobe After Effects has a steep learning curve.

I have like a million DVD movies lol soon we’ll need something to convert to blue-ray or something. I didn’t even know something like this existed.
July 22nd, 2007 03:37
Hehe you’re right, we’ll probably need one like that soon.

Haha…steep would be an understatement
It took me about a week to learn how to make a simple 10 second animated menu

I think I uninstalled it out of sheer frustration

I think I used this before. Wait no, I think they have a SWF decompiler.

I’ve been trying various different programs of this type for this job with mixed success - I’ll give this one a try now and see how I get on!
Cheers!
