Miro: Free Internet TV Player And Downloader
Miro is a free internet TV video player that also functions as a BitTorrent client, media player, video downloader, and podcast client. You can search for videos from within the application and download videos from YouTube, Google Videos, Revver, Veoh, and a few more.
The application uses an embedded VLC player to play Windows Media, Quicktime, MPEG 1, 2, 4, H264, AVI, DivX, XviD, and all the other formats supported by the standalone VLC player.

Having the ability to function as BitTorrent client, Miro can also be used to watch and download videos from file sharing websites.

The application is still in beta so there will be bugs. All in all, Miro is an application worth trying.
High five to Steve O’Hear.

Great post. Miro looks like such a great idea–to have access to all that content in a desktop player would be pretty cool. The bittorrent feature should also get a lot of people excited about it.
