Find A Partner For You And Your Pet
Imagine joining an online dating site and finding someone that you think could be your soulmate only to find out later that you’re not compatible because they don’t like pets. This is where DateMyPet comes in. DateMyPet.com is an online dating pet lovers site where members can create profiles for themselves and their pets.
This should prove useful for other members who are looking for a prospective partner since they can view what kind of pet their prospect has.

This sounds fine for those with pet fish, dogs, or cats, but what if you have a pet gorilla?

i wonder if anybody would like to date my rat
June 29th, 2007 01:07
@Shitza:
If your rat has a cute name then you got a chance
June 29th, 2007 02:15
OH MY GOSH! This is the silliest thing I’ve heard.
What’s next: do you like my cooking? How about things I read? Do you like the toilet paper pointing up or down on the roller?
I think this is moving us even more in the direction of being a self-centered society, putting up reasons why we shouldn’t be together instead of why we should. Making people less tolerant of others.
I’m not “dogging” your post, buddy, (though I do apologize for the pun), but felt compelled to “bang my drum.”
June 29th, 2007 02:22
@Mark:

I know exactly what you mean. That’s how I feel too .. it was so ridiculous I had to write about it
You can bang your drum here anytime buddy
June 29th, 2007 02:39
@Mark - I agree with everything you said but I do know that there are some hardcore pet lovers out there where at the least, this could prove a way to just break the ice ya know? Would I have used something like this? No way in hell! Not because I hate pets, (I love dogs actually), but I would be fearful that I would end up with some weird cat lady.
June 29th, 2007 02:44
LOL
Actually, you may have a point there with the cat lady thing.

I don’t really believe in internet dating, but that’s a good idea. I’m sure that website will grow a lot next year.
June 29th, 2007 06:21
Well, I`m not quite sure is what I was looking for, but your small review revealed to me the probably best place where I can find a date …
I love pets and I have several.
-A pair of aligators.
-One female tiger.
-14 snakes (I don`t know gender).
-One male shark (I tryied to “mix” him with tiger female but she didn`t want to move in the water ..).
-One ex-wife.
-Lot of red scorpions.
-A 159 years old turtle (I have her since was a baby).
What do you think, Brown Baron, do I have chances ? Is that site suited for me ?
ps : good point, Mark.

@Valentin - You’re not serious are you?
June 29th, 2007 07:31
Valentin, I’ll bet you’re great at parties!
June 29th, 2007 09:14
@ Mark
Many people avoid calling me to organise parties. Usualy, even the party host is not awared what I plan …
Of course, I can be serious too. Very serious.
(above line is a joke)
@ B. Mackel
The most I`m worryed about the turtle. She is about half aged and stil virgin. But that is not the problem. What worry me is after she`ll die, ~ 200 years from now, I`ll have to find anotherone ..

ahhhhh this is hilarious!!!!!! i didnt even know i think like this existed!! come on!!!!!!!! i love my dog but i think i wouldnt want to find someone just cause they share the same pet interests!!! duhhhhh
June 29th, 2007 11:06
@Valentin:
Maybe you should have a mini zoo.

That’s a lot of pets.
It might be a little difficult finding a date that has as many pets as you do
@confessing7girl:
I wonder what would happen if their pets were incompatible .. would the owners break up too?
July 2nd, 2007 07:22
ROFL! This is just hilarious! Does anyone remember the movie Mighty Joe Young, lol. Now that was a girl with a pet! LoL.
July 2nd, 2007 11:08

Not sure how this would work, its hard enough to find someone compatable with yourself let alone you AND your pet. But none the less this makes for a good laugh.
